Midterm grades are coming up (11.13.09). Make sure you get missing assignments and tests made up as soon as possible. There is one more office hours before grades, BE THERE Monday after school!
**** IF YOU ARE OUT SICK****
I now have office hours every Monday after school. Please make arrangements to come to office hours the first Monday after you return from an extended absence.
On my webpage you can find all you need to know about my math classes.
Daily homework assignments are on class calendars. You can find class calendars on the menu. Just click on the name of your class for more information!
Parents, if you would like to meet with me, I encourage communication with you. Please email (wiggins_s@4j.lane.edu) me ahead of time to make an appointment! This way I can dedicate some time just to you and your student.
All math students will need two spiral notebooks (graph paper recommended but not required), lots of pencils, glue sticks, planner and colored pencils to start the year.
All science students will need a 3-ring binder (1 or 1 1/2 inches) with tabs, lots of pencils and a calculator to start the year.
While 7th and 8th graders are not required to use a planner, you will absolutely need some method of keeping track of your daily assignments for your classes. In my opinion, a planner, in any form, is the best way to do this.
